REMOTE ATC
MODULES
are
available to support Transponder Continuous Operation. The units
satisfy the requirements of the NPRM as proposed January, 2003 and
comply with FAA - Industry Transponder Task Force Report - Method 2 The
Remote ATC Module assures continuous operation of Mode 3A /C for single
or dual Mode S transponders while in flight or on the ground. The units
have an MTBF of 30,000 hours.
